Moorside Park Friends are a group volunteers (mostly local residents) which was established in 2008. They are interested in improving and promoting the Park.
The group working in partnership with Sefton Council aims to improve the park, through gardening (weeding/planting/tidying), fundraising, events and activities – check the appropriate pages of the site.
The Friends objectives are:
- To contribute to the maintenance, development and sustainability of Moorside Park as a community resource for the benefit and enjoyment of local people.
- To promote community ownership of the park by increasing its use by individuals, families, groups and organisations.
- To help develop and promote the educational, social and health benefits of the park’s facilities.
- To help improve the park environment.
